SunSirs: Insufficient Market Demand, China EPS Price is falling

According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, the average quotation of EPS ordinary materials at the beginning of last week was 10,000 RMB/ ton, and the average price of EPS ordinary materials at the end of last week was 9,825 RMB/ ton, with a price increase of 1.75% and 12.93% compared with the same period of last year.

The domestic EPS market fell slightly. Pure benzene and styrene fell slightly, EPS sales were under pressure, and prices fell slightly. In addition to the tight supply of goods in the South China market, the supply of goods in other regions is relatively loose, and the follow-up of terminal demand is insufficient. Most operators are cautious and wait-and-see, and the on-site supply circulation is slow. As of December 23, the ordinary materials of Jiangsu sample enterprises were 9,200 RMB/ ton, a month on month decrease of 200 RMB/ ton, a decrease of 2.13%, and the resistance fuel was 10,100 RMB/ ton, a month on month decrease of 200 RMB/ ton, a decrease of 1.94%.

International crude oil may rise slightly, and the delivery at the end of the month may boost the mentality of styrene and pure benzene merchants. The supply side and demand side, the demand in the northeast and northwest are significantly weakened, the demand in East China is poor, and the demand in South China and southwest is weakened. It is expected that the market demand of EPS in China will decrease slightly this week.
