According to monitoring data from SunSirs, the average quotation for EPS ordinary materials at the beginning of the month was 9,550 RMB/ton, and the average price for EPS ordinary materials at the end of the month was 9,560 RMB/ton, with a price increase of 0.13% and a decrease of 12.07% compared to the same period last year.
Analysis review
Economic data from the Eurozone and some parts of the UK had improved, market concerns had eased, and international oil prices had rebounded. NYMEX crude oil futures 06 contract traded at 77.87 US dollars per barrel, up 0.50 US dollars per barrel or 0.65%; ICE oil futures contract 06 was 81.66 US dollars per barrel, up 0.56 US dollars per barrel, or 0.69%.
The trend of crude oil and styrene was weak, and EPS market inquiries had slightly rebounded. In April, domestic EPS prices were mixed, with overall slight increases. The factory price of Jiangsu ordinary materials was around 9,200-9,500 RMB/ton, and the fuel resistance was around 10,000-10,200 RMB/ton.
Market outlook
The EPS market lacks positive support, and it is expected that the domestic EPS market will mainly show a narrow and weaker trend. The price of ordinary materials in South China is around 9,350 RMB/ton.
