SunSirs: The Domestic Ethyl Alcohol Market Fluctuated Within a Narrow Range in November

In November, the domestic ethyl alcohol market first fell and then rose. The overall price fluctuated within a narrow range. According to the sample data monitored by SunSirs, the domestic ethyl alcohol market price on November 1 was 6,862 RMB/ton, and the domestic butadiene market price on November 30 was 6,925 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.91% during the month, and a price increase of 26.60% year-on-year.

Analysis review   

In terms of market conditions in various regions, the domestic ethyl alcohol market rose and fell mixed this month. The market in Northeast China was organized and operated, the markets in East China and Shandong were mixed, the market in Henan was volatile, the market in Guangxi was strong, the market in Dongguan was high, the market in Anhui was mainly rising, the market in Sichuan was organized and operated, and the market in Yunnan was high sort out.

From the perspective of raw corn, although the price of corn has a slight correction this month, it basically maintains a high level of consolidation. From the perspective of demand, the demand for liquor has continued to pick up. In terms of chemical demand, ethyl acetate has continued to rise this month, and other downstream sources have basically maintained just-need purchases.

The logistics price rose slightly at the end of this month, with the price of 280-320 RMB/ton sent to Shandong from Heilongjiang, 230-240 RMB/ton from Henan to Hubei, and 250 RMB/ton from Henan to Anhui. Shipping prices have not changed much.

Market outlook

The current ethyl alcohol market price is still at a high level, but the downstream demand is relatively stable. In the short term, the ethyl alcohol analysts of SunSirs predict that the domestic ethyl alcohol market is mainly stable.
