On January 22, the commodity price index BPI was 934 points, up 4 points from yesterday, down 30.45% from the highest point of the cycle at 1,343 points (2021-10-19), and up 41.52% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on January 22, 2026, a total of 74 commodities showed a year-on-year increase in their prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (31 in total) and the non-ferrous sector (13 in total). Commodities with an increase of more than 5% were mainly concentrated in the agricultural and sideline sector; The top three products with the highest increase are rapeseed meal (6.54%), lithium carbonate industrial grade (3.82%), and sulfuric acid (3.81%). There were a total of 33 products that experienced a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (12 in total) and energy (5 in total). The top 3 products with the highest decline were sulfonyl chloride (-2.09%), dimethyl carbonate (-1.28%), and LDPE (-1.10%).
