SunSirs: Sinopec Increases Ex Factory Price of Butadiene Rubber
January 13 2026 11:07:15     SunSirs (Selena)
On January 12th, Sinopec Sales Company raised the ex factory price of BR by 200 RMB/ton, while Qilu BR reported 12,100 RMB/ton.
The ex factory price has been raised by 200 RMB/ton to 12,100 RMB/ton, reflecting an increase in supply side costs, which directly benefits spot prices and may push up market benchmark prices. Combined with the butadiene rubber futures market (such as contract 2611 closing price of 11,945 RMB/ton, settlement price of 11,990 RMB/ton, currently lower than the ex factory price), the news may stimulate a rebound in futures prices, attracting buying due to the widening price difference. However, attention should be paid to the short-term pressure brought by changes in holdings (recent slight fluctuations).
