SunSirs: EU Grain Import and Export Statistics for 2025/26 as of November 30

Grain trade data from the European Commission shows that grain imports so far in the 2025/26 marketing year are lower than the same period last year, with the year-on-year decline widening. As of November 30, 2025/26 (beginning July 1), the EU-27's total grain imports amounted to 9,752,054 tons, a 30% decrease compared to the same period last year, and a 29% decrease a week earlier.

Wheat imports totaled 1,857,244 tons, a 53% decrease year-on-year, and a 52% decrease a week earlier.

Durum wheat imports totaled 661,931 tons, an 18% increase year-on-year, and a 30% increase a week earlier.

Barley imports totaled 198,898 tons, a 67% decrease year-on-year, and a 68% decrease a week earlier.

Corn imports totaled 6,740,205 tons, a 22% decrease year-on-year, and a 21% decrease a week earlier.

European Commission grain trade data shows that EU grain exports increased in the 2025/26 marketing year, mainly supported by increased exports of durum wheat and barley. As of November 30, 2025/26 (beginning July 1), the EU's 27 member states exported 17,060,357 tons of grain, a 14% increase compared to the same period last year, and a 16% increase a week earlier.

Wheat (excluding durum wheat) exports totaled 9,662,180 tons, a 5% decrease year-on-year, and a 5% decrease a week earlier.

Durum wheat exports totaled 938,508 tons, a 305% increase year-on-year, and a 334% increase a week earlier.

Barley exports totaled 4,441,807 tons, a 119% increase year-on-year, and a 132% increase a week earlier.

Corn exports totaled 498,207 tons, a 37% decrease year-on-year, and a 34% decrease a week earlier.
