On October 23, the commodity price index BPI was 866 points, unchanged from yesterday, a decrease of 35.52% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and an increase of 31.21% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on October 23, 2025, there were a total of 65 commodities on the rise and fall list of bulk commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (30 in total) and the steel sector (7 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were sodium iodide (3.63%), hydrogen peroxide (2.58%), and WTI crude oil (2.20%). There are a total of 52 products that have experienced a month on month decline, concentrated in the chemical industry (25 in total) and non-ferrous metals (12 in total). Products with a decline of more than 5% are mainly concentrated in the chemical industry sector; The top three products with a decline were R22 (-19.40%), benzyl chloride (-4.06%), and acetic acid (-1.92%).
