On October 22, the commodity price index BPI was 866 points, unchanged from yesterday, a decrease of 35.52% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and an increase of 31.21% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on October 22, 2025, there were a total of 49 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (20 in total) and the energy sector (7 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were formamide (3.78%), triphosgene (3.32%), and liquefied natural gas (3.09%). There were a total of 66 products that experienced a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (34 in total) and non-ferrous metals (8 in total). The top three products that experienced a decline were silver (-4.39%), gold (-4.13%), and n-propanol (-3.08%).
