SunSirs: EU Soybean Meal Imports Increased by 1% Year-on-year as of October 12

EU data shows that as of October 12, 2025, EU soybean meal imports in the 2025/26 fiscal year have increased by 1% year-on-year, marking the first year-on-year increase. Brazil and Ukraine both saw their share increase, while Argentina's share decreased.
Brazil is the EU's top soybean meal supplier, supplying 2.858 million tons, a 15.3% increase from the same period last year. Its market share increased from 49.2% last year to 56.1%.
Argentina was the second-largest supplier, with 1.635 million tons, a 15.2% decrease year-on-year; its market share fell from 38.2% to 32.1%.
Ukraine was the third-largest supplier, with 233,000 tons, an 80.7% increase year-on-year; its market share rose from 2.6% to 4.6%.
