October 17 2025 10:58:34     SunSirs (Selena)On October 16th, the commodity price index BPI was 865 points, unchanged from yesterday, a decrease of 35.59% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and an increase of 31.06% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on October 16, 2025, there were a total of 30 commodities that showed a significant increase in their prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical industry sector (11 in total) and the agricultural and sideline sector (5 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increases were silver (2.56%), petroleum coke (2.49%), and eggs (2.03%). There were a total of 66 products that experienced a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (27 in total) and non-ferrous metals (9 in total). The top three products with the highest decline were GMA (-4.78%), trichloromethane (-3.77%), and praseodymium neodymium oxide (-1.91%).
