On October 15, the benchmark price of acetic acid on SunSirs was 2,640.00 RMB/ton, the same as at the beginning of this month.
On October 15th, the acetic acid market price in Shandong Province was around 2,490 RMB/ton. The domestic acetic acid market was adopting a wait-and-see approach, with companies facing minimal inventory pressure and downstream buyers purchasing on demand. Supply and demand were relatively balanced within the market. In the short term, the acetic acid market is expected to remain cautious.
On October 15th, acetic acid prices in North China remained stable, with the delivered price around 2,510 RMB/ton, a 10 RMB/ton increase compared to the price on October 13th. Due to some acetic acid manufacturers shutting down for maintenance, inventory pressure was minimal, and downstream companies were entering the market based on demand. In the short term, acetic acid prices remain stable.
On October 15th, the acetic acid market in South China remained stable, with the ex-factory price at around 2,575 RMB/ton for self-pickup. This price increased by 10 RMB/ton compared to the price on October 10th. Due to some domestic acetic acid production halted for maintenance, inventory pressure on manufacturers was minimal, and downstream companies were purchasing on demand. The acetic acid market remains stable in the short term.
