SunSirs: China's Titanium Dioxide Output Rises Month-on-Month in August 2025

China's titanium dioxide production reached 389,000 metric tons in August 2025, marking a 4.73% increase from the previous month but a 5.08% decline compared to the same period last year. Cumulative titanium dioxide production from January to August 2025 reached 3.1558 million tons, down 0.91% year-on-year, representing a decrease of approximately 29,100 tons compared to the same period last year.
China exported 138,736 tons of titanium dioxide in August 2025, marking a 2.91% increase month-on-month but a 13.66% decrease year-on-year. Cumulative exports for the period fell 7.95% year-on-year.
As an integrated internet platform providing benchmark prices, on September 23, the benchmark price of titanium dioxide on SunSirs was 13,820.00 RMB/ton, up 2.52% from the beginning of this month (13,480.00 RMB/ton).
