September 05 2025 09:18:13     SunSirs (sELENA)On September 4th, the commodity price index BPI was 867 points, a decrease of 2 points from yesterday, a decrease of 35.44% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and an increase of 31.36% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on September 4, 2025, there were a total of 23 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (12 in total) and the agricultural and sideline sector (5 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were eggs (1.70%), bisphenol A (1.55%), and butadiene (0.71%). There were a total of 54 products that experienced a month on month decline, mainly concentrated in the chemical industry (17 in total) and non-ferrous metals (11 in total). The top three products with the highest decline were cold-rolled sheet (-3.31%), WTI crude oil (-2.47%), and Brent crude oil (-2.23%).
