According to the commodity market analysis system of SunSirs, the average domestic ammonium sulfate market price was 1,086 RMB/ton on August 27, and the average domestic ammonium sulfate market price was 1,140 RMB/ton on August 1. The ammonium sulfate market price fell by 4.68% this month.
Analysis review
The ammonium sulfate market declined this month. While ammonium sulfate supply was plentiful, downstream inquiries decreased, purchasing enthusiasm had weakened, and the market had been sluggish. Poor export conditions had put pressure on companies to ship goods, leading to a weak ammonium sulfate market. As of August 27, the mainstream ex-factory price for coking-grade ammonium sulfate in Shandong Province was around 1,000 RMB/ton. The mainstream ex-factory price for caprolactam-grade ammonium sulfate in Shandong Province was around 1,025-1,080 RMB/ton.
According to the weekly K-bar chart from June 2, 2025 to August 18, 2025, domestic ammonium sulfate prices experienced both ups and downs within the cycle. In August, domestic ammonium sulfate prices fell significantly, with the largest drop of 1.11% in the week of August 11.
