SunSirs: Mild Steel Plate Mills at key Chinese Enterprises Produced 6.8 illion tons in July

In July, plate, hot-rolling, and cold-rolling mills at key enterprises all saw year-on-year increases in output. Mild Steel plate mills produced 6.8 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 570,000 tons, or 9.1%. Cumulative production reached 43.66 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.26 million tons, or 3.0%.
Hot-rolling mills produced 16.4 million tons in July, a year-on-year increase of 90,000 tons, or 0.6%. Cumulative production reached 111.95 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 450,000 tons, or 0.4%.
Cold-rolling mills produced 6.68 million tons in July, a year-on-year increase of 110,000 tons, or 1.7%. Cumulative production reached 46.83 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 440,000 tons, or 0.9%.
