SunSirs: Key Chinese Enterprises Produced 2.35 Million Tons of Galvanized Sheet in July

According to market research conducted by the China Iron and Steel Association, in July, key enterprises produced 2.35 million tons of galvanized sheet, a year-on-year increase of 100,000 tons, or 4.4%. Sales reached 2.3 million tons at an average price of 4,594 RMB/ton, down 145 RMB/ton from the previous month. Cumulative galvanized sheet production reached 16.35 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 680,000 tons, or 4.3%.
On August 27, 2025, 154 galvanizing enterprises nationwide traded a total of 15,677 tons, a decrease of 802 tons, or 4.87%, from the previous trading day. The largest decrease was in East China, where sales fell by 405 tons, or 8.00%.
As an integrated internet platform providing benchmark prices, on August 28, the benchmark price of galvanized sheet on SunSirs was 4,262.50 RMB/ton, a 0.87% decrease from the beginning of the month (4,300 RMB/ton).
