On August 13, the acetic acid market in South China remained unchanged, with the ex-factory price at around 2,375 RMB/ton (self-pickup), a decrease of 25 RMB/ton from the price on July 31. Domestic acetic acid plant utilization rates remained high, and the market supply was ample. Companies were actively shipping, and downstream companies were purchasing on demand, resulting in a favorable market trading atmosphere.
