On August 11th, the commodity price index BPI was 869 points, up 1 point from yesterday, down 35.29% from the highest point of the cycle at 1,343 points (2021-10-19), and up 31.67% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on August 11, 2025, there were a total of 59 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (18 in total) and the non-ferrous sector (11 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were eggs (4.59%), n-propanol (4.20%), and propylene (3.10%). A total of 48 products showed a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (26 products) and agricultural and sideline industries (5 products). The top 3 products with a decline were aniline (-2.89%), organosilicon DMC (-2.44%), and epichlorohydrin (-1.75%).
