According to the SunSirs’commodity market analysis system, the aniline market sees an overall increase this week. The price of aniline was 7,550 RMB/ton on August 3rd and 7,775 RMB/ton on August 8th, a 2.98% increase over the same period last year, but a 26.30% decrease compared to the same period last year.
Analysis review
Shandong province actively promotes aniline prices this week. On Monday, with low inventory levels, major manufacturers collectively raised prices by 300 RMB/ton, bringing the mainstream market price to 7,800-7,900 RMB/ton. Subsequently, downstream buying momentum retreated, transaction volume decreased, and aniline prices were lowered by 100 RMB/ton, but buying momentum recovered somewhat, and the market remained stable until the weekend.
Cost: Benzene prices fall slightly this week. Overall supply contracts slightly, with both petroleum benzene and hydroprocessed benzene decreasing, while demand failed to see a simultaneous improvement. The average price at the start of the week was 6,075 RMB/ton, and by the end of the week it averaged 6,056 RMB/ton, a weekly decrease of 0.31%. The benzene market remains under a tight supply, and weak fundamentals influence the price of benzene.
Market outlook
The current supply and demand in the aniline market is stable, sales are smooth, and inventory pressure is not great. It is expected that the aniline market will maintain a consolidation operation in the short term.
