SunSirs: Indian Distributors Estimate Palm Oil Imports to Decline in July
August 06 2025 14:15:24     SunSirs (Selena)The Indian Refinery Association (SEA) will release data on edible oil imports for July in mid month. Distributors estimate that palm oil imports will decline in July, while soybean oil imports will reach a three-year high.
Distributors estimate that the import volume of edible oil in India will reach 1.53 million tons in July 2025, a month on month increase of 1.5%, reaching the highest level since November last year, due to a surge in soybean oil imports. The import data does not include duty-free goods arriving from Nepal via the land border.
