On July 23, the commodity price index BPI was 862 points, up 2 points from yesterday, down 35.82% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and up 30.61% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on July 23, 2025, there were a total of 68 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (26 in total) and the non-ferrous sector (14 in total). Commodities with an increase of more than 5% were mainly concentrated in the non-ferrous sector; The top three products with the highest increase are praseodymium oxide (5.05%), neodymium oxide (3.50%), and neodymium metal (3.35%). There were a total of 38 products that experienced a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (21 in total) and energy (7 in total). The top three products with the highest decline were diethyl sulfate (-1.50%), propylene glycol (-1.49%), and MIBK (-1.46%).
