According to data from SunSirs, the price of seamless tubes slightly increased last week. As of the weekend, the price of 20 #, 108 * 4.5 seamless tubes was quoted at 4,060 RMB/ton, up 0.31% from the beginning of the week and down 9.63% year-on-year.
Analysis review
Last week, the market price of tube billets slightly increased, and the factory price of 20 # hot rolled tube billets was 3,230-3,320 RMB/ton.
The price of the tube factory was high, but due to the influence of high temperature weather, the market trading atmosphere was average, and on-demand procurement was the main focus. The spot resources were not abundant, and the willingness of tube manufacturers and the market to raise prices was strong. However, the widespread high temperature weather continued, and the off-season demand was dragging down, making it difficult for businesses to sell their goods and seamless tube prices to continue to rebound.
