In June 2025, China exported 9.678 million tons of steel, a decrease of 900,000 tons from the previous month and a decrease of 8.5% compared to the previous month; From January to June, the cumulative export of steel reached 58.147 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.2%.
In June, China imported 470,000 tons of steel, a decrease of 11,000 tons from the previous month and a decrease of 2.3% compared to the previous month; From January to June, the cumulative import of steel reached 3.023 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 16.4%.
In June, China imported 105.948 million tons of iron ore and concentrate, an increase of 7.817 million tons from the previous month and a month on month growth of 8.0%; From January to June, a total of 592.205 million tons of iron ore and concentrate were imported, a year-on-year decrease of 3.0%.
In June, China imported 33.037 million tons of coal and lignite, a decrease of 3.003 million tons from the previous month and a month on month decrease of 8.3%; From January to June, the cumulative import of coal and lignite was 221.702 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 11.1%.
