Analysis review

Benzene: The market price of benzene slightly increased this week. The buying activity in the distant months was relatively active, with smooth shipments from Shandong's refining industry and a slight upward trend in market transaction prices. As of July 11th, the market was cautious in refining and trading, and industry insiders were mostly observing the macro news situation. Based on the consolidation, the price of benzene in the market was firm.

Market outlook

Crude oil futures: On July 10th, international crude oil futures closed down. The settlement price of the August WTI crude oil futures contract in the United States was $66.57 per barrel, a decrease of $1.81 or 2.6%. The settlement price of Brent crude oil futures for September was $68.64 per barrel, a decrease of $1.55 or 2.2%.
