On July 10th, the commodity price index BPI was 853 points, up 1 point from yesterday, down 36.49% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and up 29.24% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on July 10, 2025, there were a total of 49 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (19 in total) and the steel sector (8 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were natural rubber (4.01%), trichloromethane (1.95%), and aniline (1.71%). There were a total of 46 products that experienced a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (24 in total) and agricultural and sideline industries (6 in total). The top 3 products with the highest decline were polyester POY (-2.62%), hydroxyethyl methacrylate (-2.49%), and ethylene glycol diacetate EGDA (-2.38%).
