July 10 2025 10:43:46     SunSirs (Selena)On July 9th, the commodity price index BPI was 852 points, unchanged from yesterday, a decrease of 36.56% from the highest point of 1,343 points during the cycle (2021-10-19), and an increase of 29.09% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on July 9, 2025, there were a total of 38 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical sector (16 in total) and the energy sector (6 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were butadiene (3.86%), meta toluidine (2.90%), and trichloromethane (2.60%). There were a total of 55 products that showed a month on month decline, mainly in the chemical industry (30 in total) and rubber and plastic (5 in total). The top 3 products with a decline were potassium dihydrogen phosphate (-3.82%), anhydrous sodium sulfite (-3.42%), and hydrogen peroxide (-2.27%).
