According to data from SunSirs, the price of seamless tubes first fell and then rose last week. As of the weekend, the price of 20 #, 108 * 4.5 seamless tubes was quoted at 4,055 RMB/ton, unchanged from the beginning of the week and down 10.68% year-on-year.

Analysis review

Last week, the market price of tube billets had slightly increased, and the factory price of 20 # hot-rolled tube billets was 3,180-3,310 RMB/ton. Affected by production restrictions and maintenance of some steel mills, market prices rebounded and confidence rebounded.

The inventory in the seamless tube factory was 642,500 tons, a decrease of 5,300 tons from last week. Due to the news of production restrictions in Tangshan, the overall upward trend in the upstream market had resumed.
