On July 1st, the commodity price index BPI was 855 points, a decrease of 2 points from yesterday, a decrease of 36.34% from the highest point of the cycle at 1,343 points (2021-10-19), and an increase of 29.55% from the lowest point of 660 points on February 3rd, 2016.
According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, on July 1, 2025, there were a total of 41 commodities that showed a year-on-year increase in commodity prices, mainly concentrated in the chemical industry sector (20 in total) and the agricultural and sideline sector (10 in total). The top three commodities with the highest increase were isobutyraldehyde (4.50%), R134a (2.90%), and sulfuric acid (2.55%). There are a total of 72 products that have experienced a month on month decline, mainly concentrated in the chemical industry (39 in total) and rubber and plastic (10 in total). Products with a decline of more than 5% are mainly concentrated in the chemical industry sector; The top three products with a decline were methanol (-9.80%), anhydrous sodium sulfite (-8.40%), and toluene (-4.12%).
