In May 2025, the import volume of stainless steel in China was 125,100 tons, a decrease of 17,00 tons or 12.00% compared to the previous month; A year-on-year decrease of 49,300 tons, a decrease of 28.28%.
In May 2025, the export volume of stainless steel in China was 436,300 tons, a decrease of 2.56% compared to the previous month and 4.66% compared to the same period last year. The cumulative export volume from January to May was 2.11 million tons, an increase of 10.36% compared to the same period last year.
The net export of stainless steel in May was 311,300 tons, an increase of 1.82% month on month and 9.88% year-on-year; The cumulative net export from January to May was 1.3921 million tons, an increase of 48.81% compared to the same period last year.
