SunSirs: Expected to Experience Strong Fluctuations in Soybean Meal Prices in the Near Future
June 26 2025 13:46:43     SunSirs (Selena)According to the National Grain and Oil Information Center, since June, the overall price of Brazilian soybean exports has increased, leading to an increase in the cost of imported soybeans in China and a decrease in crushing profits for oil factories, which has supported domestic soybean meal prices. Secondly, in late June, the domestic soybean meal inventory was around 500,000 tons, and it is expected to rise to the perennial level of around 800,000 tons in July. The short-term pressure of soybean meal inventory expansion is not significant. Thirdly, the domestic pig inventory is at a high level, coupled with a nearly 250 yuan/ton drop in spot soybean meal prices since June, which has increased the comparative advantage and led to strong demand for soybean meal from breeding enterprises.
