According to data from SunSirs, the price of seamless tubes slightly decreased last week. As of the weekend, the price of 20 #, 108 * 4.5 seamless tubes was quoted at 4,075 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.43% from the beginning of the week and a year-on-year decrease of 11.36%.
Analysis review
This week, the market price of tube billets remained weak and stable. As of June 20th, the factory price for 20 # hot-rolled tube billets was 3,180-3,300 RMB/ton.
The inventory in the seamless tube factory was 631,200 tons, an increase of 3,400 tons from last week. The inventory in the factory had increased, and downstream purchases were mainly based on demand, while upstream steel mills increased maintenance due to worsening losses. tube factories mostly purchased raw materials in small quantities following the shipment situation, and the overall inventory change was not significant.
Market outlook
