SunSirs: EU Soybean Meal Imports Increase 26%

According to EU data, as of June 8th, the total import volume of soybean meal in the EU for the year 2024/25 has increased by 26% year-on-year, with imports from Brazil growing by 4%.
Brazil remains the top supplier of soybean meal to the European Union, with imports of 9.17 million tons as of June 8, 2025 An increase of 230,000 tons compared to a week ago and a 3.8% increase from 8.83 million tons in the same period last year (an increase of 4.5% last week). But its share has decreased from 61.1% last year to 50.5%.
