According to data from SunSirs, the price of seamless tubes slightly decreased last week. As of the weekend, the price of 20 #, 108 * 4.5 seamless tubes was quoted at 4,087.5 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.61% from the beginning of the week and a year-on-year decrease of 11.14%.
Analysis review
Last week, the market price of tube billets slightly decreased, and the factory price of 20 # hot-rolled tube billets was 3,200-3,300 RMB/ton.
On the first day of negotiations between China and the United States in London, no clear signal was released, and there was a strong wait-and-see sentiment in the market, exacerbating the uncertainty of the market.
The inventory in the seamless tube factory was 627,800 tons, an increase of 2,200 tons from last week. As of June 13th, the inventory in the factory increased, but overall it was still at a relatively low level. The off-season characteristics of the market continued, with high temperatures and rainy weather affecting construction sites. In order to reduce risks, traders were reducing their operations, resulting in a decrease in social inventory and an increase in the proportion of direct shipments from manufacturers.
Market outlook

The fundamental supply-demand relationship had not improved significantly.
