According to the statistics of SunSirs, the price of seamless tubes rose slightly last week. As of the weekend of last week, the price of 20#, 108*4.5 seamless tubes was 4112.5 RMB/ton, up 0.3% from the beginning of last week and down 11.65% year-on-year.
The market price of tube billets last week was basically flat, and the ex-factory price of 20# hot-rolled tube billets was 3300-3380 RMB/ton.
The in-plant inventory of seamless pipe factories was 622,400 tons, a decrease of 3,000 tons from the previous week. At present, the monetary policy environment is loose, but the stimulus to the market is general, the market is not active enough, the terminal demand and the mentality of taking goods are sluggish, and the market confidence is not strong.
Now entering the traditional off-season of the seamless tubes market, the fundamentals have not improved significantly. Affected by high temperature and heavy rain, the release of demand is blocked, and the weak demand is irreversible. Even if the policy of reducing the reserve requirement ratio and interest rates is released, the impact on the market is limited, and whether there will be more favorable policies in the future is still uncertain, and the market lacks effective upward momentum.
