SunSirs: It is Expected that the Accumulation Rate of Soybean Meal in Oil Plants will Accelerate in June

May 22 2025 14:01:19     SunSirs (Selena)

According to the National Grain and Oil Information Center, it is expected that the speed of soybean meal accumulation in oil plants will accelerate in June.

One is that there will be sufficient domestic soybean supply in the future. It is reported that the customs clearance of imported soybeans in China has been accelerated, shortening the previous 20 days to about 10 days. 5-7 imported soybeans will be concentrated at the port, with an expected import of 13 million tons in May, 12 million tons in June, and 9.5 million tons in July.

Secondly, the operating rate of oil factories has rapidly rebounded. According to reports, as soybeans enter the factory through customs clearance, the weekly crushing capacity of the oil plant will rebound to around 2.25 million tons starting this week, and the oil plant will maintain a high operating rate in the next two months.

Thirdly, downstream delivery may slow down. Recently, the rigid replenishment of feed enterprises has increased, but due to the expected sufficient supply of soybean meal in the future, the enthusiasm of enterprises to purchase distant soybean meal is average. With the end of this round of rigid replenishment, the enthusiasm of oil plants to pick up soybean meal in the future will decrease.
