The capacity utilization rate on the supply side has decreased, the pressure on market supply has weakened, the downstream is mainly consuming inventory, and the market is in urgent need of purchases. The market transaction atmosphere is weak, and the soda ash market in East China will be stable and wait and see in the short term.

On May 9, the price of soda ash in central China remained stable, with the mainstream market quotation of light soda ash at around 1,270-1,400 RMB/ton, and the price increased by 30 RMB/ton on May 6; the mainstream market quotation of heavy soda ash was around 1,350-1,450 RMB/ton, and the price decreased by 50 RMB/ton on April 10. The capacity utilization rate on the supply side has decreased, the pressure on market supply has weakened, the downstream consumption is mainly inventory, and the market purchase is justified. The market transaction atmosphere is weak, and the soda ash market in central China is stable and wait-and-see in the short term.
