SunSirs: Brazil's Market Share in the EU Soybean Meal Market Dropped to 50% on April 20
April 27 2025 14:34:39     SunSirs (Selena)According to EU data, the import volume of soybean meal in the EU has increased by a quarter so far in 2024/25, as the surge in imports from Argentina offset the slight decrease in imports from Brazil.
As of April 20, 2025, the EU imported 7.58 million tons of soybean meal from Brazil in the 2024/25 fiscal year (July to June), an increase of 3.4% from 7.33 million tons in the same period last year. But its share has dropped to 50.0%, lower than the 61.0% in the same period last year.
