Shafak News reported that due to OPEC+ production reduction policies and voluntary production cuts, the average export volume of Iraqi crude oil and its derivatives in the first quarter of this year was 3.7 million barrels per day, a decrease of 110,000 barrels per day compared to the same period last year, a year-on-year decrease of 3%. Between January and March 2025, the average oil production in Iraq decreased to 3.99 million barrels per day, compared to 4.22 million barrels per day in the same period last year.
In the first quarter of this year, three Asian countries accounted for over 70% of Iraq's maritime oil exports: China at 1.34 million barrels per day, India at 940,000 barrels per day, and South Korea at 380,000 barrels per day.
