On April 16th, the PA market in Jiangsu Province experienced a weak adjustment in prices. The mainstream price range for OX method PA sources was 6,900-7,100 RMB/ton, while the mainstream price range for naphthalene based sources was 6,700-6,900 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
The equipment production of PA manufacturers was slowly recovering, the domestic PA market spot supply was increasing, the raw material price of OX was fluctuating and falling, the price of industrial naphthalene was temporarily stable, the cost of PA was decreasing, and the downstream plasticizer market is declining. Plasticizer enterprises were operating steadily at a low level, and the support for PA demand was weakening. Downstream demand for PA was being purchased on demand.
