National Grain and Oil Information Center: According to monitoring, the domestic soybean meal basis price significantly increased last weekend, with the largest increase in North China. On April 12th, the base price of ordinary soybean meal in North China was M2505+700-800 RMB/ton, East China M2505+250-300 RMB/ton, and South China M2505+150-200 RMB/ton, all of which increased by 50-150 RMB/ton compared to last Friday.
The increase in soybean meal basis is mainly due to the significant decline in oil plant operating rates in the past three weeks, the continuous decline in soybean meal inventory, and the tightening of supply. In addition, downstream breeding enterprises' soybean meal inventory is generally within one week, and there is a high demand for rigid replenishment, all of which support domestic soybean meal prices.
