SunSirs: Downstream Soybean Meal Pick-up Enthusiasm Increased, Soybean Meal Prices Stopped Falling
April 09 2025 15:24:35
In the week of April 4, the United States imposed reciprocal tariffs on countries around the world, and the economic and trade frictions between China, the United States and Europe and the United States deepened. In the later period, China and the European Union may significantly increase imports of South American soybeans, pushing up the prices of South American soybeans and soybean meal in my country.
It is understood that due to concerns about the future supply of soybeans and soybean meal, feed companies have recently increased their enthusiasm for soybean meal purchases and pick-up, and soybean meal prices have rebounded. On April 7, the closing price of the soybean meal 2509 contract of the Dalian Commodity Exchange was 3056 RMB/ton, up 1% in a single day. The increase in the arrival of imported soybeans in the second quarter and the temporary easing of supply will restrict the increase in soybean meal prices.
