On March 18th, the quotation for soda ash in East China was lowered, with the mainstream market for light soda ash being around 1,350-1,550 RMB/ton, and the price reduced by 30 RMB/ton; The mainstream market for heavy soda ash was around 1,500-1,650 RMB/ton, with a price reduction of 50 RMB/ton on March 13th.
Analysis review
The maintenance of some equipment on the supply side has reduced the supply of market goods, but the downstream market was weak, resulting in insufficient demand for soda ash and resistance to it.
