On March 6th, the price of soda ash in Central China remained unchanged, with mainstream market prices for light soda ash ranging from 1,400-1,550 RMB/ton. Compared to the price on March 3rd, the price was increased by 50 RMB/ton; The mainstream market price for heavy soda ash was around 1,550-1,600 RMB/ton, with a price increase of 50 RMB/ton compared to the price on March 3rd.
Analysis review
Supply side equipment was on maintenance, market supply reduced, enterprise quotations were firm, downstream market conditions was weak, and demand for soda ash was average.
