SunSirs: The Statistics on Sugar Production in Yunnan and Guangxi Provinces as of the end of February

As of the end of February in the 2024/25 crushing season, a total of 10.9847 million tons of sugarcane have been harvested and 1.4003 million tons of sugar have been produced. This represents a year-on-year increase of 292,700 tons, or 26.43%, compared to the same period last year. The sugar production rate is 12.75%. As of the end of February, Yunnan Province has sold a total of 722,500 tons of sugar.
As of February 28, the cumulative input of sugarcane during the 2024/25 crushing season in Guangxi was 46.4034 million tons, an increase of 3.2571 million tons year-on-year; 6.1671 million tons of mixed sugar were produced, an increase of 982,200 tons year-on-year, and a total of 2.8833 million tons of sugar were sold, an increase of 529,400 tons year-on-year.
