SunSirs: EIA: US Crude Oil Inventories unexpectedly Decreased 2.3 Million Barrels, while Finished Oil Inventories Increased Last Week

According to foreign news on February 26th, the inventory report released by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) on Wednesday showed that US crude oil inventories decreased last week, while gasoline and distillate inventories increased.
According to EIA data, as of the week ending February 21, US crude oil inventories decreased by 2.3 million barrels to 430.16 million barrels, with previously interviewed analysts expecting an increase of 2.6 million barrels.
The crude oil inventory at the Cushing delivery center in Oklahoma, USA increased by 1.28 million barrels that week.
EIA stated that the crude oil processing capacity of refineries increased by 317,000 barrels per day, and the capacity utilization rate of refineries increased by 1.6 percentage points to 86.5% during the week.
EIA data shows that during the week, US gasoline inventories increased by 369,000 barrels to 248.27 million barrels, with analysts expecting a decrease of 800,000 barrels.
During the week, the inventory of distillate oil, including diesel and heating oil, increased by 3.9 million barrels to 120.47 million barrels, following market expectations of a decrease of approximately 1.5 million barrels.
The net import volume of crude oil in the United States increased by 292,000 barrels per day that week.
