According to Mikhail Martsev, Executive Director of the Russian Oil and Fat Alliance, the production capacity of the domestic oil and fat industry is growing at an extremely fast pace, which has driven the continuous increase in oilseed planting area.
In 2024, with the completion of modernization projects and new facilities, Russia's oilseed processing capacity has increased by nearly 1 million tons, exceeding 32 million tons per year.
