According to data monitored by SunSirs, as of January 23, the average price quoted by domestic high-quality DMF enterprises was 4,260 RMB/ton. DMF prices have remained stable this week, with little fluctuation compared to the same period last week.
Analysis review
This week, DMF prices have remained stable and approaching the end of the year. Downstream demand for DMF was not high, and rigid procurement was the main focus. As of January 23, companies were gradually shutting down production, and market prices remained stable.
In terms of cost: Since December, the spot market price of methanol in Henan has fluctuated, with a price range of 2,300-2,450 yuan per ton. As of January 23, the economy of traditional downstream industries was poor, and the market atmosphere in January was bearish. Traders mainly focused on clearing inventory, and their willingness to stockpile was not obvious.
