According to data monitored by SunSirs, as of January 21st, the average price quoted by domestic high-quality DMF enterprises was 4,260 RMB/ton. DMF prices remained stable this week, with little fluctuation compared to the same period last week.
Analysis review
This week, DMF prices have remained stable and were approaching the end of the year. DMF companies were taking a break one after another. The reference price for DMF spot delivery in Shandong and surrounding areas was 4,250-4,350 RMB/ton, while in Jiangsu and Zhejiang areas it was 4,500 RMB/ton. As of January 21st, the overall DMF market was operating steadily.
In terms of cost, the upstream methanol market was running steadily, the prices in the Guanzhong region were stable, and there was not much pressure on shipments. The methanol market in Shanxi was running steadily, but recently due to weather conditions, freight rates have increased. In Hebei region, the methanol market was running steadily, and downstream freight rates have increased, resulting in insufficient stocking sentiment.
Market outlook
