SunSirs: The Soda Ash Market in East China Weakened and Declined on January 7th

On January 7th, the quotation for soda ash in East China was lowered, with the mainstream market for light soda ash being around 1,400-1,550 RMB/ton, and the price reduced by 20 RMB/ton; The mainstream market for heavy soda ash was around 1,500-1,650 RMB/ton.
Analysis review
The utilization rate of soda ash production capacity has been raised, the total inventory in the market has increased, and enterprises were actively shipping. The downstream market was weaker, and demand support was insufficient. The supply and demand game in the market has led to a weak downward trend in the soda ash market in East China.
