On December 16th, the price of copper futures in Shanghai fell slightly. The main contract 2501 closed at 74,390 RMB/ton, down 340 RMB/ton or 0.45%. At 3:00 pm on the same day, the March copper price in London was 9,036.00 US dollars per ton, and the internal to external ratio between Shanghai and London was 8.23, which was the same as the previous trading day. The Shanghai London market experienced similar fluctuations.
All contracts were traded in 103,643 lots, and the position increased by 539 lots to 373,561 lots. The main contract sold 58,825 lots, and the position decreased by 3,719 lots to 140,213 lots.
